DPSS: Chapter XVIII
"Hey, Butch!" Silver said, leaning in the door to Hartman's office.
Hartman looked up from his desk. "Oh, hi, Steve…how's things?"
"How's your shoulder?"
Butch glanced down, gingerly grasping his bandaged wound. "Better, thanks…" he said quietly.
"Hey, listen…" Silver said, taking a few steps in, looking down at a printed piece of paper, "We just got this copy of the hospital bill from insurance…says you checked out today…"
Butch nodded.
"…twice."
Butch twitched. Smiling he said, "Aw, it's probably just a typo or something…you know how hospitals can be…"
Silver's eyebrows raised briefly. "Pretty consistent for a typo…" he said
